Mixing units

FM-Emulsion mixing units are suitable to mix emulsion for all applications in the machine tool industry. From the basic barrel mounted mixer to fully automated dosing systems with integrated process refractometer.
With mixing capacities from 900 l/h up to 12'000 l/h depending on execution.

Automatically operating mixing units

We manufacture automatic mixing units which operate via float switches in the emulsion tank. The dosing of new emulsion takes place when a pre determined low level is reached in the emulsion tank. A top level switch stops the dosing operation. A low level probe signals to the operator when the emulsion concentration in the barrel has been used up.

Fully automatic mixing units

Fully automatic dosing with integrated control of the concentration of emulsion are used where critical under- or overdosing could lead to substantial impair of quality of machined components. These units are controlled by a process refractometer which guarantees a very high reliability in the concentration value as well as in the added volume.
